Happy Rosh Hashanah

I made eight simple Jewish New Year cards in about 40 minutes
(yes, I time myself).
It's a basic card with a "fancy fold" to give it a different look
and some sponging to give it a soft look.

All supplies are Close To My Heart.
Colors used: Chocolate and Hollyhock

The Great Craftroom Makeover

It's mostly done! Everything is out of the dinning room, and back where it belongs. I still need to find a home for a few things, hang some pictures and tweak some stuff.
For now I have my vintage table cloths (covered with clear plastic) but I want something different.... less white.
Next I'll be working on some art work and banners to hang on the walls.
Thanks to everyone who gave me input and helped me make some important choices.
A special thanks to my dear Erin who helped me clean out the closet from hell.... and not judging me!

Craftroom Makeover

The long awaited makeover has started.
And WHAT a mess! I knew my craftroom was unorganized, but once it was all pulled out of it's confined area, it seems like it exploded in my dinning room.
It looks like I could be on the show Hoarders. Thankfully it will all be put back (hopefully in an orderly fashion) where it came from and the dinning room will be back to normal. I'll keep you posted on the progress.

Hanging on the wall is my inspiration.
UGH! This mess is so NOT my style!
Scott priming the chocolate colored walls. It took two coats to cover that dark color.

Wedding Album

We had a wedding to go to today. The colors were dark green, and black. Their metal was copper. I had no idea that there were metals now in weddings. I'm so out if it. Anyway, I always like to give an album as a wedding gift. This album is from Close To My Heart, and stands up on it's built in easel. It's spiral bound on the top, and the twelve 6x6 page protectors are fast to fill with scrapbook pages. Then the bride and groom can just add their own pictures through out their first year of marriage.
